CECILIO ANGULO BAHON

The Looming Factory. Artificial Intelligence meets the Industry
M.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Barcelona, Spain, and Ph.D. in Sciences from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalonia - BarcelonaTech, Spain.
From 1999 to 2007, he was at the Universitat Politecnica de Catalonia, as Assistant Professor. He is nowadays an Associate Professor in the Department of Automatic Control, in the same university.
From 2011 he's also serving as Director of the Master's degree in Automatic Control and Robotics.
He's currently the Director of the Knowledge Engineering Research Group where he is responsible for research projects in the area of social cognitive robotics.
Has obtained an I3 Programme's research grant for three years (Sep 2008 - Sep 2011) from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) on Social Robotics.
Cecilio Angulo is the author of over 250 technical publications. His research interests include machine learning algorithms for biomedical signal processing and social robotics in therapeutic systems.
